Full Lot Description

Pianist and Dancers clockwork automaton, Germany, late 19th Century, attributed Unterkoditz. Moller and Rippe - including original music, 5 bisque Dolls including piano player, impressed LC, glass eyes, open mouth, blonde mohair wig, wooden lower hands and feet, wearing velvet suit with red cotton neckerchief, hand attaches to wind handle on piano, plus additional seated pair of bisque dolls with auburn and brunette wigs, glass eyes, closed mouth, lower limbs are wooden, dressed in yellow and pink cotton dresses, plus a pair of dancing dolls to the left, glass eyes, closed mouths, blonde and dark blonde wigs, one dress as a boy in velvet suit with red neckerchief and girl with pink cotton dress, wooden piano to right, seated upon wooden base with wind handle, base is split along top line, measuring average height of figures 6"/15cm, base measures 12.75"/33cm x 8.5"/22cm x 2.5"/7cm.
