Architects Studio of Paul Ludwig Troost [circa, early to mid 1930] - Architectural Model of the Entrance Hall & Vestibule of the "Braunes Haus", Brienner Strasse Nr. 45 - Munchen [Brown House - NSDAP/SA HQ - 45 Brienner Street, Munich], comprising: Extremely rare German wooden scale [1/50] model of the main entrance hall of the NSDAP Party / SA Headquarters Building situated in Munich during 1931-45. The model measures [26.5 x 32 x 29cm] & depicts the main staircase leading to the french windows [both modelled in natural carved wood] & saluting balcony, 2 small staircases leading to the lower levels, 2 x pictures [embellished small colour photographs placed in scale frames], 2 x radiators with carved wooden decorative covers, ornate balustrade [carved wood with ebony rail], 1 x large NSDAP Eagle [over the saluting doors], 2 x small NSDAP Eagles [over the upper office doors belonging to Hitler & Goebbels], the "Blutfahne" [Blood Banner] on a wall mount & NSDAP Standarte [standard with Eagle finial] & provenance note attached to the outer casing. Complete with Elastolin figures [bases marked "ELASTOLIN" or "ELASTOLIN Germany"] - Goebbels in Political Leaders Brown Uniform [movable saluting arm], Ernst Roehm in SA Uniform, AH in SA Uniform [movable saluting arm] & 2 x SA Troopers. Troost was Hitler's Architect in Munich up until his death in 1934, it is believed this model was prepared for Hitler's approval before work on converting the building into offices was completed during late 1930. A contemporary ink inscription to the front frame reads "Modell: Eingang, Vestibul fur das Braune Haus, Brienner Strasse, Munchen" [Model: Entrance, Vestibule for the Brown House, Brienner Road, Munich]. Minor age wear otherwise generally Excellent overall. An extremely important model of historical significance. Unique. [6]
