Full Lot Description

Moritz-Gottschalk [or similar] - Marienburg-Sachsen, Germany, circa 1938 - Panzersperre [Anti-Tank Barrier], comprising: 2 x Roadside Defence Bunkers [Command & Machine Gun], Road Barrier & "Dragons Teeth" [Anti-Tank Defences] based on examples on the Siegfried Line. The whole is mounted on a single baseboard measuring 60 x 28cm [old split to centre section]. Constructed from wood & cardboard covered with sculpted composite material & painted in a green/brown scheme. The Barrier houses a HMG with Flak Gunner in the "B Werk" Bunker & Hausser type Panzerabwehrkannone [Anti Tank Gun] with Split Trail, all Metal Wheels, operable Firing Mechanism & 4 x man Crew [Bases marked "ELASTOLIN Germany" or "LINEOL Germany"] in the road barrier position. Some minor age wear otherwise generally Excellent overall. Extremely RARE in this condition - this being the first example of this model to be offered for sale by Vectis. [11 pces]
