An Alresford William bisque twin doll, English, impressed DW 79 AC 2, with closed mouth, fixed blue eyes, cloth body and bisque lower limbs, dressed in original bedford card dungarees, gingham blouse, socks and shoes, left hand damaged - factory replacement with instructions for fitting, 60cm; an Alresford Sarah bisque twin doll, English, 1980, impressed RL DW AC 2, with closed mouth, fixed blue eyes, cloth body and bisque lower limbs, dressed in original gingham dress with matching lace bonnet, pantaloons, socks and shoes, 60cm; an Alresford Albert bisque doll, 1981, impressed AD 81 JD, closed mouth, fixed blue eyes, cloth body and bisque lower arms and legs, dressed in original brown trousers and jacket, deerstalker, tie, shoes, socks, 60cm; an Alresford Florence bisque doll, 1981, impressed AD 81 JD C A 11 JR, closed mouth, fixed blue eyes, cloth body and bisque lower limbs, dressed in black skirt and jacket, blouse, petticoat, pants, stockings, shoes, 60cm. (4) N.B. Alresford dolls started to be produced in 1978, each was limited to the year of issue, most of the early dolls had character faces and it is these that are the most sought after making dolls for just 13 years; the company closed in 1991.
