J Jaques & Son Ltd & Hamley Bros Ping Pong or Gossima, British, c.1900, including two vellum covered bats, net, Good Plus to Excellent within original box - "The new table game causing immense excitement and healthy exercise and is the nearest approach that can be to the game of lawn tennis as played out of doors", box is illustrated with Fairly Folk playing ping-pong over a spider's web net, box edges sellotaped - Fair to Good, box dimensions - height 3"/7cm, width 7"/18cm, length 18.5"/47cm.
