Full Lot Description

Robertson's exceedingly rare Viota Golden Golly solid 9ct gold badge with diamond within spoon, fully hallmarked this is one of only fourteen produced. Ten were given out to competition winners and four were retained by the company. This is one of those four. Complete history of the campaign is included with documentation as follows: (1) Find Golden Golly Presentation to Asda. Initial marketing proposal, typewritten; (2) Colour photograph of the solid 8" high 9ct Golden model of the Viota Baker, mounted on an oak base in a glass domed display case; (3) Five Golden Golly Game printed A4 leaflets describing the competition; (4) Golden Golly Game blank A4 letterhead; (5) News Release and News Release Trade Supplement regarding "Golden Golly Missing"; (6) Golden Puzzles leaflets for Hillards, Morrisons, WM Low; (7) Droylsden Reporter copy of "Golly Goes For Gold" press clippings; (8) Viota Home Baking Recipes leaflet; (9) assorted marketing proposals etc. NB These items are from David Jennings Viota Product Manager when the promotion ran from October 1st 1985 to March 31st 1986.
