Karl Bub (Germany) 14"/35cm tinplate clockwork Limousine - a very scarce Toy Car dating from the pre 1914 period (see David Pressland's book page 71) - scarce in any condition this professionally restored example is brick red, with black roof, opening front and rear doors to each side, opening windscreen, door handles present, as is the uniformed driver, fitted with glass inserts to the windows, clockwork motor in working order with brake levers at either side of the cab. Believed to have been the subject of a professional restoration some time ago, fitted with replacement white tyres, repro headlamps, some small nicks and scratches here and there but otherwise has been repainted and refinished to an Excellent standard.

Karl Bub or similar 11"/28cm tinplate clockwork Limousine - a very scarce example circa pre the 1914 period. Despite its many Carette-like features most collectors apparently believed that this model car was made by Karl Bub, and does appear to be a slightly smaller version to the previous lot, fitted with uniformed chauffeur figure and artillery style spoked tinplate wheels, the clockwork motor is present but requires attention, opening door to each side of the rear compartment. The door handles and front headlamps are missing but does include a brake lever at each side of the car - black upper and chassis, violet blue body, fitted with a real glass opening windscreen. Would benefit from more detailed cleaning otherwise still a Fair to Good very scarce example.
