The Model Train sale rescheduled from the 24th of June to the 1st of July started with OO Gauge British Outline including a large selection of Lima diesel, steam and electric locos, Hornby coaches, wagons and locomotives, plus Bachmann, Mainline and others. Further items included HO Continental & American Outline from Athearn, Bachmann and Fleischmann, plus N Gauge locos, rolling stock, accessories, points, buildings and vehicles. The sale also featured Hornby Dublo 2 & 3-rail including sets; Hornby Acho, Triang, Trix Twin and Wrenn.  There was a nice selection of Lone Star ‘O’ Lectric train sets, locos and rolling stocks, plus OO Kit/Kitbuilt, Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, Gauge 1 & Larger, HO Gauge, Kitbuilt O Gauge, Railwayana and our usual good selection of General Trains.

Heljan O Gauge modern issue Ref 6100 2-6-2 Tank Loco GWR green large "Prairie" No.6110, 2-rail electric. Appears unused, loco is screwed to wooden plinth, bogie and pony wheels have not been attached. Appears unused Near Mint to Mint in Excellent box with instructions.

ACE O Gauge modern issue E/9 4-6-2 Loco and Tender British Railways BR green Streamlined Battle of Britain Class "Sir Eustace Missenden" No.34090 2/3 rail electric. Appears little used Near Mint in Near Mint box with instructions.

Kitbuilt Gauge 1 4-2-2 Loco and Tender Midland maroon Single No.640, 2-rail finescale electric. Professionally built and painted, lined maroon and black with running number 640 to tender sides. Included with the lot are 3 sections of coarse scale tinplate Gauge 1 2-rail track. Overall Excellent to Excellent Plus.

Hornby Dublo 3-rail EDL7 0-6-2 Southern green Tank Loco No.2594, some paint loss to bottom of smokebox door and both front buffers but condition is generally Good to Good Plus in reproduction box complete with reproduction wrap.

Hornby Dublo 3-rail EDG7 GWR Tank Goods Set containing 0-6-2 GWR green Tank Loco No.6699 with horseshoe motor and gold decal to bunker rear, paint loss to smoke box door and some minor corrosion to left side front buffer head, 3 x GWR Goods Wagons (Open, Vent Van and TOAD Brake Van) along with oval of track, black controller and part used tube of oil plus tested by tag, some minor rusting to both loco handrails, paint loss to right side bunker rear corner, crazing to both sides of vent van, all wagons have rub marks to ends from insert, conditions are Good to Good Plus in generally Good box base and insert with track end packing pieces and loco end packing pieces plus printed cover strip, lid is Fair with Royal Scot picture to top and includes instructions booklet dated 9/47.

London Underground Circle Line enamel sign 23" x 9" (58 x 22cm) approx enamelled in white with yellow and green top and bottom lining, together with "Central Yellow and Circle Line", wear particularly to top and bottom edges the reverse printed in white "Garnier S.20112 DN 18465/57 G5". Good to Good Plus.

Hornby O Gauge No.1 0-4-0 Tank Loco LMS black No.623, clockwork. Loco would benefit from a light clean otherwise Excellent to Excellent Plus in Good Plus box with LMS label to one end, guarantee slip dated 12/27 and "To Hornby Train Users" postcard dated 2/28.

Kitbuilt O Gauge 2-6-6-2 Loco and Tender LMS plain black "Bayer Garrett" plain black No.47978, 2-rail finescale electric. Loco and tender are heavily painted, cab roof detached and interior detail loose, loco fitted with 2 motors to both of the tenders. Will require a little work includes display track.
