Meet Our Team! Many of our staff are collectors themselves, we asked them a few questions about their hobbies, our next Team Member under the spotlight is Olivia .....

What do you collect?

I have a few different collections depending on different things I love, I collect all sorts of Disney items such as Loungefly Backpacks, Limited Edition Disney Dolls, Disney Traditions, Disney Pins. I also have a Barbie Collection, American Girl Dolls, Elvis Memorabile, Funko Pops, Twilight, Autographs from meeting my favourite actors at conventions.

When did you start collecting and why?

I have always had a passion for collecting since I was Little, however I would say my collection has definitely grown In my early 20s & during lock down , which has now led me to having a room in my house dedicated to my collection haha! I started getting back into collecting when I would go to thrift & antique malls in America finding collectibles you cant get over in the UK or at Comic Cons etc. and why? Being surrounded by my collection makes me happy & I don't see anything wrong with that 🙂

What is your most favourite item in your collection and why?

My most favourite item in my collection would be my first American Girl doll I bought when I was 12 which I would say started off my love of collecting.

What is your ultimate collectors’ dream item?

Disney Limited edition Snow White in Rags 17" doll

What piece of advice would you give to people starting out collecting?

If it makes you happy that's all that matters, If it brings you joy go for it! Work around your budget depending on what you love collecting go toy hunting and car boots, toy fairs, auctions.
