Colour Box miniatures Peter Fagan's Penny Whistle Lane collection The Attic, issued September 1993, the first part of a series issued in the tenth year of Colour Box, imaginary setting based on the idea of opening "What you Might Discover in the Attic of an Old Once Deserted Cottage". The Attic is the home of all the characters and is the first part of the model of the whole of number one Penny Whistle Lane that Peter sculpted room by room. Resin in construction, measuring 11"/28cm x 12"/31cm x 9"/23cm and comprising the intricate exterior featuring pan tiled roof, rickety drain pipes, chimney stack, interior has resemblance of wooden boarded out loft, complete with shelving and plastered/timbered walls and roof. NB: This is part of a two part discontinued set which forms a complete house upper and lower rooms comprising Attic and Basement. The two are separate but can be put together to make a display setting for miniature bears/animals, dolls; plus additional room setting depicting a room with a window seat, measuring 7"/18cm x 8.5"/22cm x 6.5"/17cm; Good; (2).
