Football Memorabilia a large quantity of football related ephemera, magazines, scrap books, vintage early newspapers, early football and sport related magazines and similar which includes a large quantity of vintage sports and football magazines dating from the 1920's through to the 1950's which includes a number of magazines such as Raich Carters Soccer Star magazine which all date mainly from the 50's, Day & Mason Football Annuals dating from early 1950's, a small quantity of "Amateur Sport" which all date mainly from the 1940's and 50's along with some early editions such as "The Football and Sports Favourite" a number of editions from the 1920's, "All Sports Illustrated Weekly" from early 1920's along with others. Also to include in this lot is a quantity of early vintage printed newspapers with some dating back to the 1930's through to the 1960's and are all football related to include "The Football Echo" dated January 30th 1937 which details a Sunderland Luton cup tie draw, "The Football Press" dated 1938, "The Football Chronicle" which dates from 1924 which details FA Cup Reading v Darlington along with others such as The Evening Standard 1962 "Amateur Cup Final at Wembley" Crook Town v Hounslow, and other interesting newspapers. Also within the newspapers there is a large quantity of 1970's newspapers detailing Sunderland's FA Cup win. Conditions of all these newspapers and magazines all generally range from Poor to Good with some of the earlier magazines and newspapers obviously suffering from age related wear and tear as is normal with the age of these items along with tearing, foxing, staining and similar - please see pics. Also to include in this lot is a large quantity of more recent football magazines but also there is a large quantity of football related scrap books which includes Football Monthly World Cup Souvenir England 1966, Charles Buchans Football Monthly 1966, a small vintage magazine entitled the "FA Cup Annual" which details the FA Cup 50 Years of English Cup Finals, along with others and as stated a large quantity of football related scrap books which are crammed full of newspaper cuttings, photographs and other similar football related ephemera such as Topical Times player photographs including Harry R Hooper Sheffield United, William Cobley Aston Villa and similar (please note all the newspaper cuttings and photographs relating to football in these scrap books are all stuck in as per normal). Conditions of all these scrap books, the contents of the scrap books and the other recent magazine issue all generally range from Poor to Good with the majority suffering from age related wear and tear such as foxing, tearing and similar. This really is an extremely interesting ephemera lot detailing football throughout the years 1920's through to the 1950's and later and would definitely suit a football historian. Please note due to the weight of this lot shipping is not available therefore collection only. (Large qty in 4 cardboard boxes)
