Gunthermann (Germany) 'Captain Campbell's Bluebird' - impressive tinplate clockwork example of this famous record car, blue, with yellow tin printing, balloon wheels, Union flag transfers and American Stars and Stripes to bonnet, steerable front wheels, driver figure, substantial clockwork motor driving rear wheels in working order with brake, some wear to the wheel edges otherwise a Good Plus to Excellent example which still retains the clear plastic windscreen and is 20"/51cm long. This model comes in its original card box with colourful illustration to lid (lid torn on the corners) and interestingly has been fitted with a 'Santa Claus Toy Club' label from H & Company Liverpool Toy Shop, the box is Fair to Good.
