Illuminated scroll on vellum commemorating the visit of HRH The Prince of Wales to New Zealand in April 1920. Hand lettered and painted and surrounded by scenes from New Zealand with gold embellishments, beautifully framed. Overall dimensions 23" x 28". Minor amount of age foxing but otherwise a quite superb item and very rare.

Group of hand painted figures on glass entitled "European Beauties", c.1900. Each is approx 7" x 3.5" and shows young ladies in the National Costume of Wales, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany and various other European countries. All beautifully painted and all mounted on a single glassed frame, 33" x 23". Each piece is Excellent. Very colourful.

Ink on silk drawings with lace edgings of various late Victorian scenes each with a little description or rhyme. Each piece is 7" diameter, being 12 in all and altogether within one single frame approx 29" x 36". Dating from around 1885 these are very interesting and well produced items and unusual. Excellent.

Group of Railway related items including beautifully illustrated presentation from the National Union of Railwaymen to Mr J E Davies from Mold Branch dated 2nd April 1913. The illuminated presentation shows scenes from the Railways of that period including a central piece of a Mainline Station with many Clerestory type Coach Trains in a busy Station atmosphere. Nicely framed, 30" x 24". 3 colour Plates by J Moore showing Locomotives "Jubilee 4-4-0 L&NW Railway, 4-4-0 Caledonian Railway Loco and Tender No.769 and Great Western Railways 4-2-2 Lord of the Isles". All extremely attractive and all 3 Prints framed within one piece 23" x 36". Small framed etched scene of Rainhill Bridge on the Liverpool to Manchester Railway from the mid 1800s, 6" x 9". Together with 2 reproduction Carriage Prints illustrating scenes while travelling on the Liverpool & Manchester Railway 1831. Overall Good Plus to Excellent. (5)

Group of 3 full colour late Victorian framed Prints including - "Young Mother Hubbard" in heavy ornamented frame, 25" x 33". "Hearts Light as Feathers" showing a family scene with mother plucking a goose, 19" x 25" and "Little Sweethearts" showing a young Boy and Girl in a typical sentimental Victorian scene, 19" x 26". A full coloured steel engraving entitled "The Blind Beggar" c.1845, nicely framed, picture shows 2 young Children giving money to a young beggar in a country scene. Overall dimension 24" x 21". Engraving is Excellent in Good to Good Plus frame.

Gillray an original etching in colour, c.1809 entitled "Farmer Giles and his Wife showing off their daughter Betty to their neighbours on return from school". Picture shows a very reluctant Betty singing to the accompaniment of her mother on a piano with neighbours and others sitting around the table looking suitable bored. Nicely framed. Edging in 12" x 18" in a 20" x 25" frame - Excellent.

Children's clothes a very nice collage made of sample garments as worn in the 1900-1920 period and made by Mrs D Livingstone in 1919. All framed together and showing a very small Child's dress, Princess petticoat, combinations, flannel petticoat, camisole and knickers. Frame size 25" x 32" - garments are Good Plus (although dress a little stained), together with an example of a Handwork Child's dress and hat, c.1900 in a frame. Garment is Excellent. (2)

Miscellaneous Collection including mid Victorian Print of "The Schooner Yacht Wyvern 205 tons" sailing underneath the Telford Bridge over the Menai Straits in full colour, c.1850, 25" x 21". An enlarged black and white photograph of The Menai Straits" showing the Telford Suspension Bridge taken around 1910, a superb quality photograph, 36" x 20". Late 1880s photograph of a holiday outing, showing a group of people on a horsedrawn charabanc, c.1880. A montage covering the loss of the Royal Charter a Clipper Ship which sank off Anglesey in 1859 showing various scenes from the wreck, the memorial, etc - nicely framed and two other Edwardian photographs. Prince of Wales Posters including - Albert Edward in Highland Dress c.1870 (eventually to become Edward VII), The Prince of Wales Saluting The Colours with Windsor Castle in the background, The Prince being dressed up in a sailor's suit, c.1910 (later to become Edward VIII). A contemporary photograph of The Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales 1969 in full colour and framed. A coloured framed Print of Napoleon sitting reading a book with a Child on his lap. 16" x 12" and framed. Together with a very unusual embossed tribute in memory "Louis Napoleon" Emperor of the French - who died at Camden House Chistlehurst on the 9th January 1873, approx 10" x 8" and nicely framed. Miscellaneous group including - 2 x Oileographs showing school boys sitting on a bench reading. Each 8" x 14", both in full colour, a oil on wood painting of 3 School Boys by John Threlfall. Based on the 2 previous oileographs, Painting is 6" x 9" and framed. An original crayon sketch of 2 Edwardian ladies 1910 and an original water colour "Punch & Judy", c.1820 artist unknown. Original "Baxter" Prints, c.1856. First colour printing showing 3 subjects on a single sheet which is embossed "G E Baxter - Northampton Square - printed in oil colours" and framed. "General Tom Thumb in Hyde Park", c.1865 a contemporary print approx 8" x 10" and framed and full colour cartoon "A Chip off the old Block", c.1832 illustrating proud mother showing baby with large nose and wooden leg to proud father with equally large nose, (some damage along top) - overall Good to Good Plus. 3 examples of Victorian Samplers including - (1) in wool and Welsh showing Adam and Eve, a tree, serpent, flowers, etc, dated 1844, 16" x 16" and framed, some wear and staining, (2) "Penrhyn Castle - Bangor" embroidery c.1880 in wool and (3) another in wool and Welsh dated 1881 with various fairly simple patterns, 9" x 16" and framed - showing some staining. Sampler in silks and chenilles, produced by Grace Evanes dated 1830 from Caenarvon "In Grace Jones Williams" School. Showing 3 fully rigged Ships, William IV, Henry and Francis, large running Stag and wide floral border. Overall size 17.5" square. Although showing a little damage is a fine example - Good Plus.
