Brevette S.G.D.G. - Neo - Jeu Construction - "Fort Explosiv" [Exploding Fort] circa, 1905, comprising: Cardboard & wood multi-sectional [26 pieces - including trees] French Fort [42 x 23 x 24cm] with fully operational internal spring "explosion" mechanism which destroys the fort. Outer panels decorated with printed paper detailing, brickwork, windows, trees, gate etc. Complete with original wooden case [instructions for use in English, French & Spanish are pasted to the side], this houses the spring mechanism & acts as a base/backdrop for the Fort & Tin Plate Pistol which fires a dart that when it hits the spring detonator explodes the Fort. Some age wear otherwise Excellent overall, contained in a Very Good [paper label worn & old crack to lid] original wooden set box. The first complete version to be sold by Vectis.

Unconfirmed [German] Maker, circa 1890 - Kannone, comprising: a large scale [probably around 1/8th scale] wooden Limber for the Krupp Breech Loading Cannon. Complete with pictorial assembly sheets. Note: only parts for the Limber seem to be present. Excellent overall, contained in a Very Good [crack to underside & some overall age wear] original wooden case with sliding lid complete with colour label depicting children crewing the Gun & retailer [Franz Karl Weber Speilwaren Zurich"] label to underside. A Rare Early Item.

Unconfirmed Maker - possibly Renault - Automitrailleuse à chenilles Renault FT modèle 1917 [Renault Tank FT17], Circa, 1917, comprising: precision made Brass sheet construction, with revolving Turret, opening Drivers Hatch, fully operable clockwork drive [key present], "French" type steel plate tracks & hinged rear Trench "Tail". Unpainted, with "CHAR RENAULT" engraved over engine compartment. Because this appears to be an engineered model it is possibly a Renault presentation piece or prototype model. Some pitting to bogie wheel guards otherwise Excellent overall. RARE if not Unique.

Gebruder Bing - Nurnberg [GBN] - Kanonen Range - Cat No' 7136/2 - "Kannone" [Cannon] - circa 1905 - [O/A Length 41cm, barrel length 21cm] - modelled on the Krupp Breach Loading Guns of the late 19th Century, comprising: bronze [painted] barrelled heavy calibre cannon with spring loaded bolt firing mechanism & chained firing ring [end of breech missing]. Mounted on a single trail two wheeled Field Carriage with Spoked Wheels. Finished in pale blue with black lining & GBN label to Trail. An example is shown in the Gammages Catalogue of 1902 priced at 10/6d. Some moderate age wear & minor paint loss otherwise Very Good overall. This example is the first to auctioned by Vectis. RARE
