Meccano No.1 Constructor Car - pre-war pressed steel constructional toy car made up as an open 2-seater, red, powder blue, with original white tyres, headlamps, motor in working order with brake, steerable wheels, some creasing to the folded rear hood but generally a Good Plus example, 21cm long.

Meccano No.2 pre-war tinplate clockwork Car - constructional toy made up as a Boat-tail Racer, of nut and bolt construction, clockwork motor to underside in working order, powder blue including wheels, some light cracking and flat spots to the 5 x original white tyres including the spare, marble effect red seats, includes cast metal driver figure, windscreen and head-lamps, rear numberplate, steerable front wheels with brake, some age wear but generally a Good original example, 33cm long.

Meccano No.Constructor Car No.2 tinplate clockwork pre-war Car - of nut and bolt construction, made-up as a Boat-tail Racer, shorter version than the previous lot, not being fitted with the rear scuttle insert, mid green including wheel hubs, some cracking to the 4 x original tyres and light fatigue to some of the hubs but does include handbrake, rear numberplates, head-lamps, Bugatti style grille, printed dashboard, windscreen, a replacement bare metal baseplate has been fitted and lacks spare wheel however the clockwork motor is in working order - Good for display, 30cm.

Burnett (Chad Valley) UK pre-war tinplate clockwork Limousine - scarce example which has survived remarkably well, cream, with some creasing to the orange roof, tinprinted detail including interior, balloon wheels, clockwork motor in working order - Good for display, 20cm.

Burnett (Chad Valley) UK large tinplate Greenline Coach - clockwork example in working order, open window version, balloon wheels, has been fitted with a replacement roof and roof-rack, however the tinprinted green sides are original - Fair to Good for display, 30cm.

Chad Valley tinplate London Transport Bus Confectionery Container - scarce aluminium model with removable roof, originally produced as sweet container, red, with tinprinted detail including "Carr's Biscuits", some creasing and adhesive tape marks, lacks one front wing otherwise Fair to Good.

Primus Constructional Toy with motor chassis - scarce made-up model of nut and bolt construction from this little known company which was a competitor of Meccano, c.1920 comprising bare metal chassis, green bonnet and rear body, steerable front wheels, 3 x spare wheels, some overall wear but generally Fair to Good, the rubber tyres are still intact, 34cm long.

Large tinplate 2-door Saloon Car of unconfirmed manufacture - blue, with orange/black balloon wheels, includes rear luggage rack, a replacement passenger compartment has been fabricated from a similar gauge metal and requires completion, possibly of USA manufacture - a Fair basis for restoration, 45cm long.

Strauss (USA) Mechanical Toys Interstate Bus - scarce large scale tinplate clockwork example of an open top bus in tan/yellow Interstate livery, detailed seating to interior and top deck, open staircase to rear, with driver figure, some wear to the balloon wheels, the motor is in working order however the gearing may require a little adjustment but still a Good Plus example overall for display, 26cm long.

Unknown manufacturer (German ?) tinplate clockwork Mack Truck - made as a promotional model for the famous store L Bamberger & Co. in Newark USA, lithographed in green with yellow lining/writing with store adverts to both sides, No.219 to cab sides and advert for WOR Radio in circle on front of bonnet. Generally Good showing signs of a little wear and lacking rear door or panel, clockwork mechanism is loose.

Wells (UK) No.0815 pre-war tinplate clockwork Car - scarce early example is yellow, black, some age related wear and light corrosion but generally Fair to Good example which does require repair to the clockwork motor, 16cm long.

Gong Bell Manufacturing (USA) Street Fire Alarm - unusual tinplate battery operated toy made in Connecticut USA featuring a tinplate lamp-post with street sign reading "State Street" and "Maine Street" figure posts, with rotary street fire alarm with ringing bell (lacks handle) - an unusual toy which is Good for display, 33cm high, c.1940.

Clockwork Street Dancer Novelty made in occupied Japan - comprising a clockwork black character Doll, checked trousers, red jacket, plastic feet and hat, with metal cane, attached to green metal lamp-post with street sign reading "Lenox Avenue" on one side and "125th Street" to the other which apparently was the address of the "Gateway to Harlem" in New York. This toy was said to be one of a number which were removed from toy shop shelves in New York in the 50s, some wear to the clothing but otherwise in Good working order, 22cm high.

Clockwork Dancing Figure made in occupied Japan - another similar toy to the previous item (read previous description), some wear to the clothing and torn trousers but still in Good working order, with twirling arms and dancing feet, 22cm high.

Marklin Construction Set No.1012 - comprising perforated metal sheets, strip, wheels with rubber tyres, gears, string etc, unchecked for completeness but does include an instruction book and leaflet - Good Plus in a Fair card box which lacks the edges of the lid but does have the illustration.

Tipp & Co (Germany) No.4343 tinplate clockwork Limousine - blue, cream roof and running boards, with chauffeur, brown seats to rear, balloon wheels, some overall wear and scratching to the original paintwork but the clockwork motor is in working order with permanent key - generally Good overall, 24cm.
