Modern Toys (Japan) tinplate Vintage Cars - (1) Old Timer No.1 - red, (2) Old Timer No.2 - dark blue and (3) Old Timer No.30 - red, Nos.1 & 2 have lever operated clockwork motors and the other model is friction drive, each model is between 14cm and 18cm long, c.1960s - generally Good Plus to Excellent in Fair boxes with illustrated lids. Bandai (Japan) large Lincoln and Cadillac Cars - impressive tinplate models comprise - (1) scarce Lincoln Continental - pale green, with detailed tinprinted interior, some restoration to baseplate and resprayed areas to body work, plated parts, detailed hubs, friction drive, 30cm, (2) Cadillac, battery operated, gold in colour, lacks wing mirrors but includes detailed tinprinted interior and plated parts, with steerable front wheels, 27cm - Good overall. Japanese tinplate friction drive Cars - (1) two door Sedan, c.1950s, metallic blue, some light surface corrosion to some of the plated parts, with detailed tinprinted interior, 20cm, (2) Open-top Car - red, detailed tinprinted interior, light wear to some of the plated parts, based on a Ford model, 18cm-22cm - Good Plus to Excellent, also included are 2 x tinplate Caravans, (1) 4-wheeler, 23cm, requires some reattachment of the rear panel but includes opening doors and roof hatches and (4) 16cm 2-wheeled House Trailer, the base requires reattachment - both Caravans are made by SSS of Japan and are blue, white, red and are otherwise generally Fair to Good. Pair of boxed 1950s Japanese tinplate Cars - (1) Modern Toys remote control Corona Sedan "with winkers" - tinplate model is red, with black roof, mechanical control to steering (requires adjustment), wired for battery operated indicators, 22cm long, (2) Toymaster Ford Fairlane 500 - friction drive model is red, black, with detailed tinprinted interior, 20cm - Good Plus to Excellent models which still retain Good card boxes with colourfully illustrated lids. Large American 2-door pressed steel Coupe - substantial clockwork model, c.1930s, of unconfirmed manufacture, possibly Marx, Kingsbury or similar - red painted over orange (possibly by the manufacturer), black roof, black rubber wheels marked "Girard", permanent key, wired for electric headlamps, Fair to Good basis for some light restoration, 35cm long.

Daiya (Japan) Astro Racing Car - scarce tinplate battery operated model is red, with detailed tinprinting, futuristic clear plastic engine compartment and cockpit, some damage to the edge of the rear lamp surround and light retouching around front nose area (lacks grille), fitted with rubber tyres, steerable front wheels and detailed hubs - otherwise Good Plus overall for display, 30cm long.
