Hornby R508 Flying Scotsman Passenger Train Set containing LNER green 4-6-2 A3, 2 x LNER teak Thompson Coaches and oval of track (track a little rusty), Loco Excellent Plus, Coaches Near Mint to Mint in Good box (lid tape repaired to 3 corners and inner vac form tray cracked) and empty box only for RS609 Express Passenger Train Set, lid Fair, inner vac form tray dirty but undamaged, generally Excellent. Triang Railways/Minic Motorways RM.A Combination Set. Set is complete with all correct contents including BR black 0-6-0 3F Loco and Tender, 2 x BR maroon Coaches, circle of Super 4 track, oval of grey Minic Motorway track including 2 x Level Crossing, 2 x Minic Motorway Hand Controllers, black Rolls Royce, dark green Jaguar (both in clear perspex cases which have distorted and slightly yellowed), Minic Motorways Owners Handbook, track layout wiring diagram leaflet, 1962 2nd Edition Minic Motorway Catalogue and 8th Edition Triang Railways Catalogue. Loco is complete with instructions dated 07/62, Servicing Scheme leaflet, sealed Loco Crew and packing rings (foam missing). Set is also complete with inner Minic Motorway plain cardboard packing carton and outer plain card packing carton. 2 of the Motorway track boxes have minor puncture holes otherwise inner boxes are generally Near Mint to Mint. The 2 Mk.1 Coach boxes are still factory sealed. Contents Near Mint to Mint, all card full colour box has minor crush to one corner of lid but very bright and clean, generally Excellent to Excellent Plus. Superb Set.
