A preview of some of the fantastic diecast lots on the first day of a week of terrific Toy Auction Sales at Vectis.

Lot 2
Spot-on "Sports Cars" presentation pack which includes Triumph TR3; Jaguar XK SS; Austin Healey and MGA - conditions are generally Excellent Plus to Near Mint (apart from Triumph TR3 which has slight cracks to windscreen) - still a beautiful example, inner tray and carded packaging are Good Pus to Excellent in a Good Plus lift off lid box - see photo.
Estimate: £400 - £500 
 
  Lot 285
"James Bond" Magazine issues a set of 134 which includes Aston Martin DB5; Lotus Esprit; Leyland Sherpa Van plus others - conditions appear to be generally Mint in Excellent to Mint (sealed) packaging - comes with separate magazines for each issue. (134)

Lot 271
Dinky No.270 Trade Box containing 6 x "AA" Motorcycle Patrol - finished in yellow, black, tan figure driver, with knobbly grey plastic wheels - overall conditions are generally Near Mint to Mint (apart from 1 which is only Excellent Plus) - still beautiful examples in a generally Excellent lift off lid trade box with correct dividers and packing pieces - see photo.
Estimate: £300 - £340 
 
  Lot 1
Spot-on Gift Set comprising of Austin 1800; Ford Zephyr; Morris 1100 with canoe and dinghy on trailer (without sail) - overall conditions are generally Excellent to Excellent Plus in a generally Good Plus inner carded tray (models are loose but original wire's are in box), carded base is Good Plus lift off lid is Good - still a bright example.
Estimate: £200 - £240 
Lot 248
Dinky No.935 Leyland Octopus Chain Wagon green cab and chassis, light grey back and flashes, red plastic hubs with black treaded tyres, tow hook. Overall condition is generally Good Plus to Excellent (very small marks on side and rear edges) still a nice bright example that displays well - see photo.

Dinky No.514 Guy "Lyons Swiss Rolls" Van - finished in blue, mid blue ridged hubs - overall condition is generally Good Plus (does have pitting to roofs) - still a bright example - see photo.
Estimate: £150 - £200 
Lot 273
Dinky No.129 (108) MG Midget Export Issue finished in red including ridged hubs, tan seats and tonneau without driver (108 baseplate). Overall condition is generally Excellent Plus still a beautiful example of a harder to find issue.

  Lot 231
Dinky No.917 Guy "Spratts" Van - red cab, chassis and Supertoy hubs with black smooth tyres - overall condition is generally Good Plus 9does have small chips to most protruding edges) - still a bright example that displays well in a generally Good to Good Plus harder to find blue and white striped lift off lid box with (514/917 dual number end) - see photo.
